Considering this is a debut novel, you can basically bowl me over because i am so in love with this book. But it was easy for me to put off.

I rate this book 5/5 stars!! The hating game is slow burn in the very best way, thorne builds not only the connection between her hero and heroine but the readers attachment to them, their witty dialogue served to lure the reader into losing themselves in one of the best bouts of drawn out verbal foreplay that i have ever experienced. Sensitive, forgotten parts of me blaze to life.

Both hate each other so much that it becomes small games for them, like the staring game and the hr game. lucy is sweet and friendly to everyone, while joshua is cold and intimidating. Ruthie was a young women who was old before her time. By all means, it was not a sad book.

The realization that im having a dirty dream about joshua templeman suddenly jars me and i teeter on the edge of waking, but i keep my eyes shut. If so, share your favorite one below! I devoured it in about two days, reading as often as i could.
